On September 9, 2026, a large-scale meeting was held at the premises of Russian Space Systems JSC. The meeting was convened by the Moscow City Council of the All-Russian Public-State Organization "All-Russian Society of Inventors and Innovators" (VOIR) and the Committee for Inventive, Rationalization, and Patent-Licensing Activities of the "League for Assistance to Defense Enterprises".
The meeting focused on priority tasks for implementing the decisions made at the VOIR Founding Congress. These decisions concern the creation of inventors' collectives as the main structural element of the organization.
Attendees included representatives from the of the All-Russian Public-State Organization VOIR Coordination Council, Russian Space Systems JSC, the Russian Federation Ministry of Defense, and the Presidential Directorate for State Policy in the Defense-Industrial Complex. Leading inventors and rationalizers from the holding company also participated.
Welcoming remarks were delivered by Dmitry Alexandrovich Avtaikin, General Director of Russian Space Systems JSC, and Dmitry Ivanovich Zezyulin, Chairman of the Moscow Branch Council of the All-Russian Public-State Organization VOIR. Speakers also included Oleg Georgievich Dyachenko, Executive Director of the VOIR Coordination Council, and Maxim Alexandrovich Zakharov, Head of the Intellectual Property Directorate at the Russian Federation Ministry of Defense.
During the meeting, Moscow City Council of VOIR members unanimously voted to create an inventors' collective. They also admitted 146 employees of Russian Space Systems JSC as members.
A ceremony was held during the meeting to present awards. The best inventors and experts of Russian Space Systems JSC received certificates, diplomas, and commendations from the Moscow City Organization of VOIR, as well as awards from the Archimedes-2026 Salon.
The business program featured Ivan Anatolyevich Bliznets, Academic Director of the Scientific and Educational Center for Intellectual Property and Digital Economy, and Alexey Vladimirovich Inshakov, Deputy Director of the Transport Research Institute. Also participating were Alexander Olegovich Zhukov, Deputy General Director for Research at OKB MEI JSC, Denis Stanislavovich Piotukh, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Inventive, Rationalization, and Patent-Licensing Activities under the "League for Assistance to Defense Enterprises," and Alexey Valerievich Ryabinin, Intellectual Property Ombudsman.
The meeting discussed intellectual property management issues and the organizing inventive work at industrial enterprises.
The meeting confirmed strong interest of defense-industrial complex enterprises in the inventive activity growth. Creating inventors' collectives at leading enterprises will be an important step for introducing innovations and strengthening the country's technological sovereignty.
