Russian Inventors Won at International Exhibition of Inventions in Guangzhou, China
The 12th International Exhibition of Inventions "IEI 2026" was held from August 21 to 23, 2026. It took place at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou. The event brought together 35 countries and attracted over 600 international specialists in science and technology. The total exhibition area reached approximately 20,000 square meters. More than 3,700 cutting-edge innovative developments from around the world were on display.
As an official partner of the China Association of Inventions (CAI), the International Innovation Club "Archimedes" organized a collective Russian exhibition. That ensured that Russian inventors of innovative products could take part in IEI-2026.
The Russian delegation included leading Russian scientific and industrial organizations. Among them were Timiryazev Russian State Agrarian University – Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy (RSAU-MTAA), RM Rail Engineering JSC, Kuban State Technological University (KubSTU), Tver State Technical University (TvSTU), Joint-Stock Company “Scientific-Research and Design Institute for Informatization, Automation and Communications in Railway Transportation” (JSC NIIAS), and the Federal Research Center "Komi Scientific Center" of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (FRC Komi SC UB RAS). A special prize, the China Instrumentation Award, was awarded to JSC NIIAS for its innovative “Voice Information System for Engineer”.
The Russian participants received high praise from the international jury. They were awarded gold and silver medals based on the results of the competition program.
The delegation presented promising projects in several fields. These included agribiotechnology, railway engineering, industrial technologies, automated control systems, and new materials. In addition, Their work attracted considerable interest from both the international jury and visitors.
The exhibition reaffirmed its status as a key international platform. It serves as a place to showcase technological achievements, exchange experience, and strengthen cooperation in innovation.
