Russian inventors showcase innovations at the 7th Global Invention Forum (GIF-2026)
Between October 14 and 15, 2026, the International Jury of the 7th Global Invention Forum (GIF-2026) evaluated and finalized the forum’s competition program. The jury was led by Dr. Yoshiro Nakamatsu, President of the Dr. NakaMats Innovation Institute (Japan).
Russian inventors and manufacturers of innovative products took an active part in the Forum's competition program. Their works were honored with gold and silver medals, special prizes, and diplomas for their innovative inventions.
The team of Russian inventors was represented by the following organizations:
— Federal Research Centre Komi Science Centre of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences
— Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Education “Russian University of Transport”
— Joint Stock Company Research and Design Institute for Information Technology, Signalling and Telecommunications on Railway Transport (JSC NIIAS)
— Kuban State Technological University.
The forum’s Grand Prix was awarded to Kuban State Technological University for the invention: “Software module. Laboratory information VR stand for configuring and modeling a nonlinear radar for detecting hidden devices”
