From May 19 to 22, 2026, the International Invention and Innovative Technologies Competition was held in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia, under the auspices of the International Innovation Club “Archimedes”. The competition was held within the framework of the 68th International Technical Fair with the support of the Belgrade Inventors Association and the Moscow City Organization of the All-Russian Society of Inventors and Rationalizers.
Projects for the competition were submitted from Russia, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, China, and Slovakia, in areas such as medicine, transportation, agriculture, construction, electronics, and youth scientific and technical creativity.
All the inventions presented at the stand of the International Innovation Club "Archimedes" generated great interest among the general scientific and technical community, as well as among the participants and guests of the exhibition.
Inventions by Ryazan State Medical University named after academician I.P. Pavlov, Federal Research Centre Komi Science Centre of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, The Peter the Great Military Academy of the Strategic Missile Forces, Russian State Agrarian University - Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy, Joint-Stock Company Scientific and Production Association “ORION”, State Autonomous Non-standard Educational Institution of the Murmansk Region "Center for Education "Laplandia", Joint Stock Company Research and Design Institute for Information Technology, Signalling and Telecommunications on Railway Transport (JSC NIIAS), LLC SPS "Rus", the World Invention Intellectual Property Associations (WIIPA), the Union of Arabian Academics (TUOAA), and the Federal Scientific Agroengineering Center VIM were awarded gold and silver medals by the Belgrade Inventors Association.
Meetings were organized between Russian inventors and members of the Serbian Academy of Inventors and Scientists, staff of the Trade Mission of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Serbia, and staff of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Serbia. The discussions were constructive and beneficial for further cooperation between representatives of the Russian and Serbian business communities.
As part of the cultural and educational program, the delegation visited the Belgrade Fortress, the Nikola Tesla Museum, the Ethnographic Museum, the Temple of Saint Sava in Belgrade, and the National Museum of Serbia.
